Aaron Pipe Industries Granted Consent to Establish in Coimbatore

Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu – Aaron Pipe Industries, a manufacturer of PVC Flexible Hose Pipes, has received its Consent to Establish (CTE) from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB). The consent, granted under both the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, and the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, allows the company to establish its facility at S.F. No. 258/1A Part, 258/2A Part, Kollarpatty Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District.

The consent orders, dated June 10, 2025, signify a crucial step for Aaron Pipe Industries to begin operations. The company is categorized under the “GREEN” industry type.

Key Details from the Consent Orders:

  • Products: Aaron Pipe Industries is authorized to manufacture PVC Flexible Hose Pipes at a rate of 8.5 Tons/Month. Any changes to the product or quantity will require fresh consent from the Board.
  • Validity: The Consent to Establish is valid until March 31, 2030, or until the industry obtains Consent to Operate (CTO), whichever is earlier.
  • Air Pollution Control: The facility will utilize “Entirely Closed Circuit” for its 6 extruders to control emissions. The unit has been advised to explore providing suction hood arrangements with a stack for extruder and granulator machines when applying for CTO.
  • Water Management: The company will have a Sewage Treatment Plant consisting of a Septic Tank (2.5×1.5×2.5 meters) and a Dispersion Trench (2.4×1.2×1.5 meters) for the treatment and disposal of 0.32 KLD of sewage on their own land. Importantly, the consent specifies that no trade effluent shall be generated during the manufacturing process.
  • Environmental Compliance: Aaron Pipe Industries is required to adhere to Ambient Air Quality (AAQ) and Ambient Noise Level (ANL) standards.
  • Plastic Ban Adherence: The unit is strictly prohibited from manufacturing any banned one-time use and throw-away plastic items as declared by the Tamil Nadu Government. They are also encouraged to use eco-friendly alternatives.
  • Mission LiFE: The company is encouraged to use and popularize the “Mission LiFE” logo and mascot and request employees to adopt its action points, furnishing half-yearly reports to the Board.
  • General Conditions: The consent clearly states that the unit cannot commence operation without obtaining Consent to Operate. A request for CTO must be made at least thirty days before trial production. The unit must also comply with the Public Liability Insurance Act, 1991, and develop a green belt around the premises.

This consent marks a significant milestone for Aaron Pipe Industries as they move forward with establishing their manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, with a clear focus on environmental compliance and sustainability.
